REGULATIONS

1. Goals and targets of FriendlyCup:

• Development and promotion of tennis in Azerbaijan

• Increase skill level of participants

• Supporting friendship relationships among participants

• Promotion of a healthy lifestyle

• Development of emotions control skills

• Strengthening health

2. Conditions for carrying out FriendlyCup

2.1 Each player must play a minimum of 3 games per calendar month, with no maximum number of games

2.2 You can call an opponent 4 positions up and 6 positions down (the position of the players is taken into account on the day of the challenge)

2.3 If a player from a low position beats a player from a high position, then they change places in the table. (the position of the players is taken into account on the day of the match)

2.4 The composition of the participants in the match cannot repeat an identical match played within the calendar month

2.5 The table updated, after each match played

2.6 On the last day of the calendar month, the standings are fixed.

2.7 If a player has played less than 3 games in a calendar month, then the player moves down in the table by the number of positions equal to the difference between the minimum games and the games played

2.8 Participants get contacts of rivals through website www.tennisfriends.az or WhatsApp and in will determine the time of matches in writing.

2.9 If an agreement about match was reached, one of the planned match participant, who is in charge, will inform administrator of FrendlyCup tournament about the date, place and names of participants through WhatsApp or by another way (email, call and so on).

2.10 Participants get all information from the website www.tennisfriends.az and through WhatsApp group.

2.11 Daily schedule of matches will be posted in WhatsApp group.

2.12 Games are held on any courts suitable for tennis playing.

2.13 After every match a winner must send the exact score of the match to administrator of FrendlyCup tournament through WhatsApp or by alternative communication (email, call and so on).

2.14The monthly fee is 20 AZN with a transfer to the card 4169 7388 6588 7941 and sending a check to the FriendlyCup number

2.15 If both players agree to play the match, then clauses 2.2 and 2.4 can be ignored

2.16 Players taking part in the tournament undertake to comply with the tournament regulations

3.Match rules in FriendlyCup

3.1 Matches are held till two (2:0; 2:1) winning sets.

3.2 If the score will be 1:1, by mutual consent instead of 3rd set tie-breaker will be played.

4.Force-Majeure

4.1 If the participants in the planned match cannot come to a common agreement on which court to play, then in this case a coin is tossed and the winner chooses the location of the game. Courts located outside can be offered at a temperature of +18 degrees

4.2 In cases of cancellation of a scheduled match, the player canceling the match must inform the opponent no later than 2 hours before the start of the match, otherwise the player may be awarded a forfeit. All court costs are borne by the player who canceled the match.

4.3 If a controversial or other situation arises that goes beyond the regulations, then the verdict is made by the FriendlyCup board, with subsequent inclusion in the regulations.

4.4 The position of a new player in the rating table is determined by the organizers of the FriendlyCup tournament.

4.5 To file an appeal or other issues related to the tournament, please send a Whatsapp message to the FriendlyCup number

4.6 In cases where a player is unable to finish a match for any reason then:

• If more than 3 games are played in the match, then the player is considered to have lost

• If <=3 games are played in the match, then the match is postponed or a loss is counted at the opponent's choice
